Chicken With White Barbecue Sauce Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 tbsps fresh cracked black pepper .
  • 1 1/2 c mayonnaise .
  • 2 tbsps white wine worcestershire sauce .
  • 1/4 c lemon juice .
  • 2 tbsps sugar .
  • 1/3 c apple cider vinegar .
  • 1 (2.5-3 lb) broiler-fryer chickens, quartered

Directions
  • Step #1 Combine: first 6 ingredients in a small bowl, stirring with a wire whisk.
  • Step #2 Arrange: chicken in a dish.
  • Step #3 Pour 1 c sauce over chicken; turn to coat.
  • Step #4 Cover up chicken & remaining sauce; chill 8 hrs, turning chicken once.
  • Step #5 Prepare: fire by piling charcoal or lava rocks on sides of grill; leave center empty.
  • Step #6 Place a drip pan between coals.
  • Step #7 Microwave: chicken, discarding marinade; arrange n an 11x7x1&1/2" basking dish with thickest portions toward outside.
  • Step #8 Cover up with wax paper.
  • Step #9 Microwave at HIGH 12 mins.
  • Step #10 Coat food rack with vegetable cooking spray; place on grill over med.
  • Step #11 -hot coals.
  • Step #12 Place chicken as soon as possible on rack over coals, & cook, without grill lid, 5 min on each side.
  • Step #13 Rearrange: chicken over drip pan.
  • Step #14 Cook covered with grill lid, 20 mins or until done, turning every once in awhile.
  • Step #15 Serve with sauce.
