Step #1 Scald the milk until almost boiling.
Step #2 Mix brown sugar, corn starch, salt in a bowl.
Step #3 slowly stir part of scalded milk into dry ingredients.
Step #4 Stir back into remaining milk & cook over low heat/flame until it starts to thicken up.
Step #5 Remove from heat.
Step #6 Stir in butter & vanilla.
Step #7 Pour into 4 dessert dishes.
Step #8 Keep put in the fridged.
Step #9 Can be served warm or cold.
