Turkey Meatballs With Lemon Sauce Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 tsp worcestershire sauce .
  • 4 c cooked egg noodles, hot .
  • 2 tbsps cornstarch .
  • 2 tsps lemon juice .
  • 1 egg, beaten .
  • 1/2 tsp lemon peel, grated .
  • 1 lb lean ground turkey .
  • 1/2 c plain fat-free yogurt .
  • 2 c chicken broth .
  • 1 green onion, sliced .
  • 1 small carrot, shredded .
  • 1/4 c all-bran cereal

Directions
  • Step #1 In a large bowl, mix egg, cereal, Worcestershire & lemon peel.
  • Step #2 Crumble turkey over mixture; mix until well mixd.
  • Step #3 Shape into 20 meatballs.
  • Step #4 In a large skillet coated with nonstick spray, brown meatballs.
  • Step #5 Add broth; bring to a boil.
  • Step #6 Reduce heat, cover & let simmer 5-8 mins or until turkey is no longer pink.
  • Step #7 Remove meatballs & keep warm.
  • Step #8 Combine the cornstarch, yogurt & lemon juice until smooth.
  • Step #9 Gradually stir in theto juices in pan.
  • Step #10 Bring to a boil; cook & stir until thickened, about 2 mins.
  • Step #11 Stir in carrot & onion; heat through.
  • Step #12 Serve meatballs & sauce over noodles.
