Three Bean Salad Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/2 tsp coleman's mustard powder .
  • 1 (15 oz) can chickpeas, drained .
  • 1 (15 oz) can dark red kidney beans, drained .
  • 3/4 c red wine vinegar .
  • 1 tbsp fresh basil, minced .
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced .
  • 1/2 c oil .
  • 1 (15 oz) can green beans, drained .
  • 1 tsp sugar or sugar substitute .
  • 1/2 tsp salt .
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper .
  • 1/2 medium yellow onion, sliced

Directions
  • Step #1 Toss beans & onion.
  • Step #2 Set aside.
  • Step #3 Whisk together oil, vinegar, garlic & spices.
  • Step #4 Pour over bean mixture.
  • Step #5 Marinade 8-24 hrs.
  • Step #6 Can keep in refridgerator for a week.
  • Step #7 NOTE: This recipe is easiest to make & marinate in a 1 gallon zip lock bag.
