Glady's Chop Suey Recipe

Ingredients
  • 3 tbsps sorghum molasses .
  • 1 (12 oz) can mushrooms .
  • 1 (12 oz) can bean sprouts .
  • 2 lbs pork shoulder .
  • 4 tbsps flour .
  • 2 c sliced celery .
  • 2 c sliced onions .
  • 4 tsps salt .
  • 1 (12 oz) can chop suey vegetables .
  • 4 tsps soy sauce .
  • 1/4 tsp pepper .
  • 1 c vegetable oil

Directions
  • Step #1 Brown meat in vegetable oil & add water.
  • Step #2 Cover up & cook over low flame for 15 mins.
  • Step #3 Add the celery & onions.
  • Step #4 Cook 15 more mins.
  • Step #5 Add your remaining vegetables.
  • Step #6 Combine 4 Tablespoons of flour with water.
  • Step #7 Slowly stir in theto mixture using a fork or a whisk.
  • Step #8 Bring to a boiling point & reduce heat to medium low.
  • Step #9 Simmer Chop Suey for another 10 mins or so.
  • Step #10 Serve & enjoy.
