Spinach And Feta Stuffed Bread Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/4 tsp kosher salt .
  • 1 large egg white .
  • 1 tsp onion powder .
  • 2 tbsps parmesan cheese, grated .
  • 1 lb bread dough (can use frozen or your own) .
  • 1/3 c cream cheese .
  • 1 c feta cheese, crumbled .
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced .
  • 1 (10 oz) package frozen spinach, thawed, drained, squeezed dry (sliced) .
  • 1/4 tsp basil .
  • 1/2 tsp oregano .
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper, fresh ground

Directions
  • Step #1 Combine feta & next 10 ingredients in a bowl.
  • Step #2 Roll dough into a 16 x 10-inch rectangle on a lightly floured surface.
  • Step #3 Spread spinach mixture over dough, leaving a 1/2-inch border.
  • Step #4 Beginning with a long side, roll up jelly-roll fashion; pinch seam & ends to seal.
  • Step #5 Place roll, seam side down, on a baking sheet coated with cooking spray.
  • Step #6 Cut diagonal slits into top of the roll using a sharp knife.
  • Step #7 Cover up & let rise in a warm place 1 hr or until doubled in size.
  • Step #8 Preheat oven to 350°.
  • Step #9 Sprinkle top Parmesan cheese over the top of the roll.
  • Step #10 Bake at 350° for 45 mins or until golden.
