Ingredients
1/2 c butter (one stick) .
1 lb bacon, sliced .
1 (8 oz) jar real maple syrup .
8 large put in the fridged buttermilk biscuits (she suggested Grands by Pillsbury)
Directions
Step #1 Preheat oven to 375°F.
Step #2 Place a medium skillet over medium-high heat & add bacon.
Step #3 Cook until crisp, about 8-10 mins & reserve.
Step #4 Place a small saucepot over med-heat/flame & add the maple syrup & the butter -- do not bring up to a boil.
Step #5 Cook until butter is melted, then turn the heat off & reserve.
Step #6 Butter or spray a 3x9 loaf pan.
Step #7 Pour a couple tbsps of the maple/butter sauce in the bottom.
Step #8 Layer 3 of the biscuits in the bottom of the pan.
Step #9 Tear up one of the biscuits & fill in any open spaces with the pieces.
Step #10 Don't worry if any still remain, the ooze will fill those inches.
Step #11 Sprinkle top half of the reserved bacon onto of the biscuits & top this with about a 1/2 c of the butter syrup mixture.
Step #12 Place the remaining biscuits on top, sprinkle the rest of the bacon over them & top this with the remaining maple sauce.
Step #13 Transfer to oven & bake for 25-30 mins.
Step #14 Remove & as soon as possible turn over onto a serving dish.
