A Little Harissa For Liza Recipe

Ingredients
  • 3 Egg whites, -OR- 4 whites. whipped to soft peaks.
  • 1/4 c Water more if necesssary for the correct consistency.
  • 1 pn Salt
  • 1 1/2 c Flour, plain, sifted.
  • 6 tb Oil, Olive
  • 1 c Water, lukewarm, adding

Directions
  • Step #1 At least 2 hrs before time, the flour, mix in a mixing bowl, warm water, oil & salt.
  • Step #2 Mix, & leave to stand for 2 hrs or more.
  • Step #3 Before using, fold in the egg whites.
  • Step #4 Batter should remain usable for 2-3 hrs.
