Choc Chip Peanut Butter Fudge Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 c Caster sugar
  • 1 c Brown sugar; tightly packed
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 ts Baking powder
  • 375 g Dark choc chips
  • 2 ts Vanilla essence
  • 1 c sliced pecans
  • 250 g Unsalted butter
  • 1 ts Bi-carbonate of soda
  • 2 tb Milk
  • 2 c Flour

Directions
  • Step #1 1.
  • Step #2 Place butter & sugars in a large bowl & cream until light and fluffy.
  • Step #3 Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition, and vanilla & milk.
  • Step #4 2.
  • Step #5 Sift flour, bi-carbonate of soda & baking powder & stir in theto the butter mixture, then fold in the choc chips & pecans.
  • Step #6 Cover bowl & put in the fridge for 1 hr.

  • Step #8 Pre-heat oven to 180deg.

  • Step #10 Line three baking trays with Glad Bake.
  • Step #11 4.
  • Step #12 Take spoonsful of mixture & roll this into balls & place on trays.
  • Step #13 Flatten into discs, allowing room to spread.
  • Step #14 Bake for about 10 mins or until golden in colour.
  • Step #15 remove this from oven but leave on tray for 3 mins before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.
  • Step #16 Note: If using a tsp, the mixture will make about 8 dozen biscuits.
  • Step #17 If using a tbsp, the yield will be about 4 dozen.
