Chocolate And Nut Flan Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/2 pt Fresh coffee
  • 8 oz Dark chocolate
  • 1/4 tb Run
  • 4 tb Brandy
  • 3 tb Nuts; sliced
  • 6 tb Caster sugar
  • 1 250 gram pac amaretto biscuits
  • 1/2 ts Instant coffee
  • 8 Eggs; separated
  • 12 oz Mascarpone cheese

Directions
  • Step #1 Pour fresh coffee & instant coffee into bowl.
  • Step #2 Add rum & brandy & mix together.
  • Step #3 Pour biscuits into the coffee mixture to soak up.
  • Step #4 Whisk egg yolks and caster sugar together until fluffy & light.
  • Step #5 Add mascarpone cheese slowly to egg yolks.
  • Step #6 mix with a whisk.
  • Step #7 Grate the chocolate.
  • Step #8 Put half the chocolate into the egg mixture and whisk.
  • Step #9 Put a layer of biscuits into a serving bowl, then a layer of egg mixture, then another layer of biscuits & build.
  • Step #10 place this in a fridge to chill & set for one hr.
  • Step #11 Take the pudding out of the fridge & Sprinkle top with crushed nuts and the rest of the grated chocolate.
