Ingredients
  • 1 c Sugar
  • 2 ts Anise-flavored liqueur
  • 1 Egg
  • 2/3 c Water
  • 1 1/2 ts Whole anise seed
  • 2 c Flour
  • 1/4 c Vegetable oil
  • 2 ts Vanilla

Directions
  • Step #1 mix all except last two ingredients.
  • Step #2 Beat well.
  • Step #3 stir in the flour and anise seed.
  • Step #4 Drop batter by the tspful onto center of each cookie section.
  • Step #5 Close lid & allow to cook 30 to 45 seconds or until lightly brown.
  • Step #6 allow this to cool on wire rack or towels.
  • Step #7 Dust with powdered sugar.
