Ingredients
  • 1 ts Sugar;
  • 1/2 ts Vanilla extract;
  • 1 1/2 c Heavy cream
  • 1/2 c Lowfat buttermilk

Directions
  • Step #1 Pour cream & buttermilk into a lidded jar.
  • Step #2 Replace lid, shake, and let mixture rest at about room temp 6 to 8 hrs.
  • Step #3 put in the fridge at least 24 hrs; mixture reaches optimal thickness after 4 to 5 days.
  • Step #4 In a large metal bowl, whip put in the fridged cream, sugar, & vanilla with a balloon whisk until it achieves the consistency of whipped cream.
