Baked Pita Chips Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/4 ts Cinnamon
  • Vanilla ice cream
  • 3 tb Brown sugar
  • 3 tb Kahlúa or other coffee liqueur
  • 1/2 sm Pineapple; peeled, cored, cut lengthwise into 1/2-inch-thick spears
  • 1 1/2 tb Butter

Directions
  • Step #1 preheat your trusty oven to 400°F.
  • Step #2 Arrange pineapple in single layer in baking dish.
  • Step #3 Sprinkle top with brown sugar.
  • Step #4 Dot with butter & Sprinkle top with cinnamon.
  • Step #5 Drizzle Kahlúa over.
  • Step #6 bake this until pineapple juices bubble, 25 mins.
  • Step #7 If necessary, transfer juices to small saucepan & boil until thickened to sauce consistency.
  • Step #8 Arrange pineapple on plates.
  • Step #9 top this with ice cream.
  • Step #10 Spoon sauce over & serve hot.
  • Step #11 2 servings; can be doubled or tripled.
