French Onion Soup Coca-cola Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/2 c Green peas Parmesan cheese,
  • 2 1/2 qt Water 1 Clove garlic, minced
  • 2 ts Salt 1/2 c elbow macaroni
  • 1 sm Onion 1 cn tomato paste
  • 1 1/2 c Kidney beans 1 tb Italian Spice uping
  • 2 1/2 lb Blade chuck roast OR 1/4 c Onion, sliced
  • 1/2 c Green beans, fresh/sliced 1 ts Salt
  • 1/2 c Celery leaves 1 c COCA-COLA
  • 1 Bay leaf 1 tb Olive oil
  • 1/2 c Zucchini, thinly sliced Grated
  • 2 Slices, bacon, sliced 1 tb Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 c Celery, sliced 1/4 ts Black pepper
  • 1/2 c Carrots, thinly sliced
  • Meaty soup bones 1/4 c Parsley, sliced

Directions
  • Step #1 In a large pan, celery leaves, water, small onion, place the meat, salt, & bay leaf.
  • Step #2 Cover & let simmer about 2-1/2 hrs until the meat is tender.
  • Step #3 Remove the meat.
  • Step #4 Strain the broth (should measure 2 quarts).
  • Step #5 Add ice cubes to the broth to harden the fat & remove the fat.
  • Step #6 Discard the fat.
  • Step #7 Finely dice the meat, discarding any fat & bones (should be about 2 c).
  • Step #8 In a 5 to 6 quart kettle or Dutch oven, mix the beef broth and the meat.
  • Step #9 Place over low heat/flame while preparing the rest of the ingredients.
  • Step #10 Pan-fry the bacon until crisp.
  • Step #11 Add the bacon & the drippings & all the remaining ingredients, except Parmesan cheese, to the broth.
  • Step #12 Cover and simmer about 30 mins, until the vegetables & macaroni are tender.
  • Step #13 Serve Sprinkle topd with Parmesan cheese, if desired.
  • Step #14 Makes about 3 quarts.
