Chinese Pepper Steak Coca-cola Recipe

Ingredients
  • Thick slices
  • 2 cn beef broth French bread, cut into
  • 4 c Onions, thinly sliced 1/8 ts Pepper
  • 1 ts Salt
  • 1/4 c Butter or margarine 1/2 ts Vinegar
  • 3/4 c COCA-COLA Parmesan cheese, grated

Directions
  • Step #1 In a heavy saucepan, melt the butter/margarine.
  • Step #2 Add onions & cook this until they are golden, do not brown.
  • Step #3 Add the undiluted beef broth, 1 soup can of water, vinegar, Coca-Cola, salt, & pepper.
  • Step #4 Cover & let simmer 20 to 25 mins.
  • Step #5 In a broiler, toast one side of the French bread slices.
  • Step #6 Turn and generously Sprinkle top with the Parmesan cheese.
  • Step #7 Toast until browned.
  • Step #8 Into deep bowls, ladle the soup & top this with the toast, cheese-sided up.
  • Step #9 Makes 4 servings or about 6 c.
