Veal Birds Paprika Recipe

Ingredients
  • 3/8 c Olive oil 1 c Fresh parsley, minced
  • Salt 3 Garlic cloves, minced
  • 6 Tomatoes, halved & seeded 1/4 c Unsalted butter
  • 1/2 c Pine nuts

Directions
  • Step #1 Sprinkle top the cut sides of the tomatoes with salt & allow to drain, upside down on a rack for 30 mins.
  • Step #2 In a skillet, & saute the tomatoes for 3-4 mins on each side, heat 1/4 c oil over mod-high heat, or until they are softened but not brown.
  • Step #3 Transfer the tomatoes to a baking sheet & keep them warm, covered.
  • Step #4 In a small skillet, stirring, heat 2 Tbsp oil over mod-high heat & saute the pine nuts, until they are golden.
  • Step #5 Transfer them to paper towels to drain.
  • Step #6 Add the butter to the skillet, & cook the garlic over moderate heat, stirring, until it is light golden.
  • Step #7 Add the parsley, stirring, & cook the mixture, for 1 min.
  • Step #8 Spice up the mixture with salt & pepper, spoon it into the tomatoes, & top this with the pine nuts.
  • Step #9 a 1975.
