Lemon Mustard Dressing Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 tb Flour
  • 3 To 4 - tsp walnut oil
  • 1/4 c Heavy cream
  • 3 tb Whole grain mustard
  • 1 c Lemonade
  • 1 Egg, beaten
  • Sunflower oil for frying
  • SAUCE:
  • 4 lg Chicken breasts, boned
  • 1/4 c Fresh bread crumbs
  • 2 ts Whole grain mustard
  • 1/2 c Chicken broth
  • 1/4 c Pecans or walnuts, sliced

Directions
  • Step #1 Source: MAINPOUL.
  • Step #2 ZIP Salt & pepper Marinate breasts in lemonade for one hr.
  • Step #3 Drain & reserve lemonade for sauce.
  • Step #4 Pat breasts dry & coat with mustard.
  • Step #5 mix bread crumbs & nuts.
  • Step #6 Dip chicken breasts into beaten egg & then into bread crumb- nut mixture.
  • Step #7 Chill for 2 to 3 hrs.
  • Step #8 Heat 1/2" sunflower oil in frying pan; add walnut oil.
  • Step #9 Fry chicken 10 to 12 mins, turning once.
  • Step #10 When cooked, put on serving platter; keep warm.
  • Step #11 Pour all but 1 1/2 Tbsp oil from pan.
  • Step #12 stir in the flour & cook about 1 min.
  • Step #13 Add reserved lemonade & broth.
  • Step #14 Cook down rapidly to about 3/4 c.
  • Step #15 Add cream, stirring constantly, & strain into saucepan.
  • Step #16 Heat well & swirl in mustard.
  • Step #17 Spice up to taste.
  • Step #18 Pour over chicken & serve.
