Lentil & Bulgur Cakes Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 ts Marmite
  • Salt
  • Dried herbs
  • 1 Carrot
  • 4 oz Roasted Buckwheat
  • 1 Onion
  • 1 pn Nutmeg
  • 6 oz Red Lentils
  • 1 pt Veg stock
  • 1 ts Oil
  • Pepper

Directions
  • Step #1 1.
  • Step #2 Chop onion & carrot, saute in oil in a fairly large saucepan 2.
  • Step #3 Add all other ingredients - bring to boil 3.
  • Step #4 Simmer for 30 mins, until liquid is absorbed 4.
  • Step #5 While 3.
  • Step #6 is taking place, preheat your trusty oven to 200C/400F/Gas Mark 6 5.
  • Step #7 Put mixture in loaf/flan dish 6.
  • Step #8 Put loaf/flan dish in 4.
  • Step #9 above.
  • Step #10 7.
  • Step #11 Cook for 30 mins Note: I see no reason why you would need to use the oil, just cut up the carrots extra small, place all ingredients in the pan & start at 2.
