Ingredients

1 c Thinly sliced carrots
2 c Coca-Cola
2 c Chicken stock; or canned low-sodium chicken broth
2 lb Pot roast
1 c Frozen peas, defrosted
1 Onion; sliced
1 tb Oil
1 ts Salt

Directions

Step #1 HEAT OIL IN A POT, add the meat & brown well on both sides.
Step #2 Remove the meat & pour out the fat.
Step #3 Replace the meat & add onion, carrot & Coca-Cola.
Step #4 Place over med-heat/flame & cook 5 mins.
Step #5 Add stock & salt, cover & cook for 1 1/4 hrs or until meat is tender.
Step #6 Add the peas & cook another 5 mins.
