Beets In Sour Cream Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 ds Ground cloves
  • 1/4 ts Salt
  • 1/2 c Dry red wine
  • 1 tb Cornstarch
  • 1 cn Cut beets
  • 2 tb Butter or margarine
  • 1 tb Brown sugar

Directions
  • Step #1 Melt butter or margarine in 8-inch skillet over low heat/flame.
  • Step #2 Mix cornstarch, brown sugar, salt & cloves; stir in theto melted butter.
  • Step #3 stir in the reserved beet liquid & wine.
  • Step #4 Heat to boiling, stirring constantly.
  • Step #5 Boil & stir 1 min.
  • Step #6 stir in the beets; heat through.
