  • Step #1 Yield: 6 9 inch unbaked pastry shell 6 oz jar marinated artichoke : -hearts 1 sm zucchini, in 1x1/4" sticks 1 sm onion -- sliced 4 eggs or part egg-substitute 1/2 c milk 1/2 ts each salt & savory 1/4 ts pepper 1 c shredded Monterey Jack : cheese Prepare unbaked 9" pastry shell.
  • Step #2 Chill.
  • Step #3 Meanwhile preheat your trusty oven to 425 F.
  • Step #4 Drain artichoke hearts, reserving 2 T.
  • Step #5 marinade.
  • Step #6 Cut artichokes in half.
  • Step #7 Saute zucchini & onion in reserved marinade for 5 mins.
  • Step #8 Geat eggs in medium bowl until foamy.
  • Step #9 stir in the cream, salt, milk, savory & pepper.
  • Step #10 Spoon zucchini nd onions into shell.
  • Step #11 Add artichokes.
  • Step #12 Sprinkle top with cheese.
  • Step #13 Pour on eggs & cream.
  • Step #14 bake this at 425 f.
  • Step #15 for 15 mins.
  • Step #16 then lower heat to 350 F.
  • Step #17 Bake for 20 mins.
  • Step #18 until knife comes out clean.
  • Step #19 Cool 15 mins before serving.
