Cantonese Sweet & Sour Chicken Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 tb Honey
  • 1 tb Ginger root; minced
  • 1 ts Black pepper; freshly ground
  • 1 ts Chinese chili paste
  • 1/2 c Hoisin sauce
  • 2 Cl Garlic; minced
  • 3 lb Leg of lamb, trimmed of all
  • 2 tb Dijon mustard
  • 2 tb Ketchup
  • 1 tb Soy sauce

Directions
  • Step #1 Recipe by: Bonnie Stern, Simply Heartsmart Cooking Preparation Time: 1:00 Cut lamb open so meat lies as flat as possible; trim all fat.
  • Step #2 mix remaining ingredients & smear over lamb.
  • Step #3 Preheat barbecue & grill lamb for 10 to 15 mins per side, depending on Allow meat to rest for 5 to 10 mins before carving.
