Caper Butter Sauce Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 tb Fresh parsley, sliced
  • 3 tb Olive oil
  • 1 lb Capellini pasta
  • 1 lb Raw shrimp, peeled, cleaned
  • 2 cn Chicken broth
  • 3 tb Butter or oleo
  • 1 tb Dill weed
  • 1 ts Oregano
  • 1 ts Lemon juice
  • Pepper to taste
  • 2 Cloves garlic, minced

Directions
  • Step #1 In a large pot of boiling, salted water, cook the capellini until just barely tender; drain, rinse, & place this in a large bowl.
  • Step #2 Toss the capellini with a little olive oil to keep from sticking together.
  • Step #3 Meanwhile, in lge.
  • Step #4 skillet, heat 3 tbs.
  • Step #5 olive oil & 3 tbs.
  • Step #6 butter over med heat; add shrimp & garlic & saute until the shrimp just turns pink.
  • Step #7 stir in the lemon juice, oregano, basil, parsley, dillweed, & chicken broth; reduce the heat & let simmer until heated through.
  • Step #8 Pour the shrimp mixture over the capellini & toss carefully until the capellini is lightly coated.
  • Step #9 Spice up this with pepper & serve as soon as possible.
