Cardamom-scented Rice Pudding Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/2 c Milk
  • 1/2 c -water
  • Honey
  • 15 Cardamom Seeds
  • 2 dr Vanilla

Directions
  • Step #1 For indigestion, mix 15 pulverized seeds in 1/2 c hot water.
  • Step #2 Add 1 oz of fresh ginger root & a cinnamon stick.
  • Step #3 Simmer 15 mins over low heat/flame.
  • Step #4 Add 1/2 c milk & let simmer 10 more mins.
  • Step #5 Add 2 to 3 drops of vanilla.
  • Step #6 Sweeten with honey.
  • Step #7 Drink 1 to 2 c daily.
  • Step #8 Grown in India, Cardamom pungent, aromatic seeds contain a large amount of volatile oil that helps stimulate digestion & relieve gas.
  • Step #9 A mild stimulant, cardamom is a standard ingredient in curry.
