Parmesan Breaded Chicken Recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 c Flour
1/4 c Cheese, parmesan
1/4 c Shortening
1 ts Celery seed
1 Egg, unbeaten
1/2 ts Salt
Celery seed
1/3 c Milk
2 ts Baking powder
Cheese, parmesan

Directions

Step #1 Sift together flour, baking powder, celery seed & salt.
Step #2 Cut in shortening & parmesan cheese until particles are fine.
Step #3 mix egg with milk.
Step #4 Add to dry ingredients; stir until dough clings together.
Step #5 Knead on floured surface 10 times.
Step #6 Roll out to 1/2-inch thickness.
Step #7 Cut into rounds with floured 2-inch cutter; place on cookie sheet.
Step #8 bake this at 425F degrees for 15 to 20 mins until golden brown.
