Peanut Butter Pie (6/3/93) Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 ts Vanilla
  • 2 pk 8-oz cream cheese, room temp
  • 2 tb Butter, melted
  • 4 oz Semi-sweet chocolate
  • 2 c Sugar
  • 2 ts Hot coffee
  • 3 tb Hot coffee
  • 1/4 c Butter, melted
  • 1 c Graham cracker crumbs (about
  • 2 c Peanut butter
  • 1 1/2 c Whipping cream
  • 1/2 c Firmly packed light brown su

Directions
  • Step #1 mix crumbs, brown sugar & 1/4 c butter.
  • Step #2 Press into bottom and halfway up sides of 9 inch springform pan or pie pan.
  • Step #3 Beat peanut butter, cream cheese, sugar, 2 tbsps butter and vanilla in large bowl of electric mixer until smooth & creamy.
  • Step #4 Beat cream until soft peaks form.
  • Step #5 Fold whipping cream into peanut butter mixture.
  • Step #6 Spoon into crust.
  • Step #7 put in the fridge 6 hrs.
  • Step #8 Melt chocolate with coffee in double boiler over carefully simmering water.
  • Step #9 Spread atop filling.
  • Step #10 put in the fridge until firm.
