Debra's Pickled Eggs In Beer Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 tbsp parsley flakes
  • 1 (12 fluid oz) bottle beer
  • 24 small hard-cooked eggs
  • 2 c vinegar
  • 1 tbsp pickling spice

Directions
  • Step #1 Place eggs in a large stock pot & cover with cold water.
  • Step #2 You may need to cook the eggs in 2 batches if you do not have a pot large enough.
  • Step #3 Bring to a boil & as soon as possible remove this from heat.
  • Step #4 Cover, & let this stand in hot water for 10 to 12 mins.
  • Step #5 Cool under cold running water, & peel.
  • Step #6 Pierce each egg with a knife or fork to assist in the absorption of liquid.
  • Step #7 Transfer eggs to a large glass jar or other deep, sealable glass container.
  • Step #8 Place beer, vinegar, pickling spice, & parsley flakes together in a bowl.
  • Step #9 Pour over eggs until fully submerged.
  • Step #10 (Be sure to select a container in which the eggs are completely covered, or add extra pickling liquid, if necessary.
  • Step #11 ) Cover & put in the fridge for at least 3 days before using.
  • Step #12 Can be sealed & stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks in pickling liquid.
