Chocolate Coconut Bars Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 c semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 egg
  • 1/3 c confectioners' sugar
  • 1 (8 oz) package put in the fridged crescent rolls
  • 1/4 c sliced nuts
  • 3/4 c flaked coconut

Directions
  • Step #1 Unroll crescent roll dough into one long rectangle on an ungreased baking sheet; seal seams & perforations.
  • Step #2 Roll out into a 13-in.
  • Step #3 x 9-in.
  • Step #4 rectangle, building up dough around edges.
  • Step #5 In a small mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese, confectioners' sugar & egg until smooth; stir in the coconut.
  • Step #6 Spread over crust.
  • Step #7 Bake at 375 degrees F for 10-15 mins or until cream cheese mixture is set.
  • Step #8 Immediately sprinkle with chips.
  • Step #9 Let stand for 5 mins; spread melted chips over the top.
  • Step #10 Sprinkle top with nuts.
  • Step #11 Cool completely before cutting.
