Christmas Fudge Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 (7 oz) jar marshmallow creme
  • 1 (11 oz) package white chocolate chips
  • red food coloring, as desired
  • 2/3 c heavy cream
  • green food coloring, as desired
  • 3/4 c butter
  • 3 c white sugar

Directions
  • Step #1 Grease a 9x13 inch pan.
  • Step #2 In a medium saucepan mix sugar, cream & butter.
  • Step #3 Heat to between 234 & 240 degrees F (112 to 116 degrees C), or until a small amount of syrup dropped into cold water forms a soft ball that flattens when removed from the water & placed on a flat surface.
  • Step #4 Stir in marshmallow creme & white chocolate chips; mix well.
  • Step #5 Reserve 2 separate 1/2 c of mixture & set aside.
  • Step #6 To one of the reserved 1/2 c mixture add red food coloring until desired shade of red is achieved.
  • Step #7 To the other 1/2 c of mixture add green food coloring until desired shade of green is achieved.
  • Step #8 Pour white mixture into prepared pan.
  • Step #9 Pour dots of both the red & green mixtures across the top.
  • Step #10 Using a toothpick or knife, swirl colors throughout the white.
  • Step #11 Chill for 2 hrs & cut into 2 inch squares.
