How to make it

  • Combine cilantro, jalapeno, ginger, garlic, juice, sauce, sugar, salt, pepper, and 1/4 cup olive oil.
  • Place large skillet over medium high heat and coat with remaining 2 tablespoons olive oil.
  • Sprinkle tuna pieces with salt and pepper then sear tuna for a minute on each side.
  • Pour half of the cilantro mixture into the pan to coat the fish.
  • Transfer seared tuna to plates and serve with sliced avocado and remaining cilantro sauce.
