Cider Glazed Pork Chops Recipe
CIDER GLAZED PORK CHOPS This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Victor Estate in Allen, Texas in 1981.

Ingredients
  • 2 thick pork chops
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/4 cup cider vinegar
  • 1-1/2 tablespoons sweetener
  • 1/2 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1 small white onion thinly sliced

Directions
  1. Put oil in a heavy skillet then brown pork chops in the oil.
  2. When both sides are brown stir together vinegar, sweetener and soy sauce then pour over chops.
  3. Scatter onion on top then cover and turn burner to low and let chops simmer 45 minutes.
  4. Turn chops occasionally and when done serve chops with onions and syrup from pan.
