Down Home Style Chicken Vegetable Stew

- 2 1/2 to 3 lb broiler or fryer cut up shopping list
- 6 cups water shopping list
- 2 tbls. beef bouillon shopping list
- 2 medium tomatos chopped shopping list
- 2 medium onions chopped shopping list
- 2 medium potatos cut into 1/2 in. slices shopping list
- 2 medium sweet potatos cut into 1/2 in. slices shopping list
- 3 ears of corn cut into 3 pieces shopping list
- 1/4 lb. squash cut into 3 pieces shopping list
- 1/2 cup fresh or frozen peas shopping list
- 1 small hot chili steamed, seeded and sliced shopping list
- 2 tsp. salt shopping list
- 1/4 tsp. pepper shopping list
- snipped chives shopping list
How to make it
- Heat Chicken,water, and bouillon to boiling in Dutch Oven; reduce heat. Cover & simmer 30 min. Skim off fat. Add remaining ingredients except chives. Heat to boiling; reduce heat. Cover and simmer until thickest pieces of chicken are done & vegetables are tender. about 20 min. Garnish each serving with chives.
