Quick Spicy Thai Sauce Recipe
This is a nice quick tasty sauce recipe to have on hand. Most items found at ethnic shelf at your grocers

Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup coconut milk
  • 1 Tbs red curry paste
  • 1 Tbs peanut butter
  • 1 Tbs fish sauce
  • 1 Tbs molasses

Directions
  1. Whisk all together and heat gently in pot.
  2. Add cooked cocktail meatballs and heat through.
  3. Enough for 1 pound of cooked meatballs to make 4 servings.
  4. Note: red curry paste is very hot and one may use yellow or green or a milder Thai curry paste in the recipe instead!
  5. Multiply sauce ingredients as desired.
  6. Adjust flavors if desired (more sweet, less hot etc. some garlic etc.)

Which brand of red curry paste do you use? Is all red curry paste the same? I love spicey food and thinking about giving this recipe a try.


The brand in my fridge says: Blue Dragon Brand.
I usually buy whatever strikes my eye and there are so many brands on the shelves in an oriental grocery store,. Yes there is somewhat of a difference between brands but overall any brand you choose should suffice
