How to make it

  • Wash asparagus and snap off the ends then lay asparagus spears in shallow pan.
  • Cover with salted boiling water then bring to boil and simmer 8 minutes.
  • Drain and turn into buttered ramekin dishes.
  • Melt butter and stir in wine then pour over asparagus.
  • Sprinkle with salt and pepper then bake at 425 for 15 minutes.
