Irresistable Meat Loaf

- 6 rashers or streaky bacon shopping list
- 1 kg of lean beef mince (leaner the better) shopping list
- 1 sachet of French onion soup shopping list
- 1/2 packet of onion sage stuffing shopping list
- 1 small packet of parmesan cheese shopping list
- fresh parsley shopping list
- ground pepper shopping list
- dried oregano shopping list
- fresh garlic (chopped finely) shopping list
- 3 eggs (non cage of course) shopping list
- 2 bottles of good beer (I go with SA's barossa valley, Knapstein Enterprice Lager) shopping list
- 1/4 can of tomato soup shopping list
How to make it
- Fragment the mince into a large bowl, mix in dry ingredients by hand
- Add egg and tomatoe soup
- spray olive oil into a cake tin and line with the streaky bacon, leave some hanging over
- squash in the meat mix, press in firmly
- flop over the bacon and cover with aluminium foil
- cook for 35 minutes at 180C
- remove foil, cover with the beer and cook for a further 10 minutes till juices evaporated
- Serve with gravy and mashed potato, and the second beer
