Ingredients
  • 3 thick steaks; i love kansas city cut
  • 11/2 T chili powder
  • 2 T dijon mustard
  • 1 T Basil
  • 1/2 T garlic or 2 cloves
  • 1 T extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 T horseradish
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 c bread crumbs
  • 1/2 t ground mustard seed

Directions
  1. Heat oven to 400
  2. In a food processor combined all ingredients. Mix until you have a well blended bread mixture.
  3. Marinade the steaks. I use rock salt, ground pepper, W sauce and soy sauce. Just a little bit of each for flavor.
  4. Sear steaks stove top 1-2 minutes on each side.
  5. Place steaks on a baking sheet. Add the bread crumb mixture on the top of each steak.
  6. Cook for 30-40 minutes; depending on how you like your steak done
  7. I flip half way through to add more bread crumbs on the other side for more flavor. If you do not flip half way through cut the bread crumb recipe in half.
