How to make it

  • First you want to heat some oil in a pan over medium heat.
  • Now saute the leeks, onions, celery, carrot, sweet potatoes, pumpkin, and garlic until they began to brown.
  • Then you can add in bay leaf, stock, cream, bringing this to a boil then let simmer until the veggies are tender.
  • Now you can add in the sage, cloves, nutmeg, cinnamon, and salt and pepper.
  • Finally, take out the bay leaf and puree soup.
  • Ladle up and serve!
