How to make it

  • line a 10 x 12 cookie sheet with foil.
  • in heavy pot, mix sugar syrup andwater. bring to boil
  • stir in peanuts
  • cook, stirring often until nuts smelled parched..about 15 min.
  • add baking soda , stir quickly. it will foam and turn a golden color
  • quick pour on cookie sheet.
  • cool, break in pieces.

    hi mrsc, no, I don't grease the foil.
    BTW, thanks for asking! BUT, I do use the quick release foil. the recipe never said to grease , though.
