Peanut Brittle Recipe

Ingredients

1 C sugar

1/2 C ight corn srup

1/4 C water

2 C raw peanuts

1 T baking soda

Directions

line a 10 x 12 cookie sheet with foil.

in heavy pot, mix sugar syrup andwater. bring to boil

stir in peanuts

cook, stirring often until nuts smelled parched..about 15 min.

add baking soda , stir quickly. it will foam and turn a golden color

quick pour on cookie sheet.

cool, break in pieces.

BTW, thanks for asking! BUT, I do use the quick release foil. the recipe never said to grease , though.
