How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 350
  • Blend peanut butter and powdered sugar until mealy. Sprinkle 2/3 mixture in baked pie shell. Combine flour, sugar and stir into scalded milk, w/butter and vanilla. Cook until starting to thicken. Mix small amount of liquid into beaten egg yolks and to milk mixture. Cook until thickened to a pudding consistency. Pour into shell.
  • Beat egg whites until still, add cream of tarter, sugar and cornstarch until stiffen peaks. Top w/remaining prowdered sugar and peanut butter mixture.
  • Bake @350 f 15 minutes or until slightly browned.
