Chicken Almond Rice

- 3 cups boiling chicken broth shopping list
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt shopping list
- lemon pepper seasoning, to taste shopping list
- white pepper, to taste shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups long grain rice, uncooked shopping list
- 1/2 cup slivered almonds shopping list
- 3 Tablespoons butter shopping list
How to make it
- Combine boiling broth, salt, seasonings, and rice in an ungreased
- 2 1/2-quart casserole or baking dish.
- Cover tightly with foil or lid, and bake at 350° for 30 to 40 minutes or
- until liquid is completely absorbed and rice is tender.
- Meanwhile, lightly brown almonds in the butter.
- Add almonds and butter to hot baked rice; toss to blend well.
