How to make it
- Chop onion. Drain and rinse beans.
- Combine all ingredients and add water to cover.
- Bring to a boil, mixing well.
- Simmer 10 minutes.
- Refrigerate overnight or longer. (The longer it sits in the fridge, the more the flavors blend.)
- Warm and serve.
- I plan to try next time with frozen green beans that I cook ahead of time, and maybe I'll add some pine nuts when serving.
