Whole Wheat Pie Crust Recipe
If you prefer to use whole wheat flour, this is a great basic crust recipe! Perfect for any type of pie or quiche, or freeze for use later.

Ingredients
  • 1 1/4c whole wheat pastry flour
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 7 tbsp very cold butter - diced
  • 3 tbsp Ice water

Directions
  1. mix flour and salt in medium bowl or food processor
  2. cut in butter with pastry blender or pulse in food processor
  3. stir in ice water 1/2 tbsp at a time until dough forms a ball
  4. gather dough and pat into a disc, chill for at least 30 minutes
  5. use very little flour to roll into 10" round
