Recipe by Wayne Curtis, for the morning after "cure", for bartenders and spirits who lovers descended on New Orleans for the Tales of Cocktail conference: recipe swaps, sampling etc as reported in The Week magazine

Ingredients
  • Ixe
  • 2 1/2 oz tomato juice
  • 1 oz fresh squeezed orange juice
  • 1 Tbs fresh squeezed lime juice
  • 1 oz silver tequilla
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1 Tbs finely chopped onion
  • 3 thin crosswise cut slices of hot chili peppers ( jalepeno )
  • 1 dash worchesterire sauce
  • salt

Directions
  1. Fill a highball glass with ice
  2. Combine the 3 juices, tequila, hney, onion and pepper slices, Worchestershire sauce, salt to taste in cocktail shaker
  3. Add ice
  4. Shake vigorously and then pour ( strain ) into a glass
