How to make it

  • Bring to boil first 3 ingredients in a saucepan. Simmer, covered for 1 hour on medium-low heat stirring frequently. Remove pan from heat and let rest 10 min.
  • In a small bowl, combine the next 4 ingredients. Stir into rice and return pot to low heat stirring constantly for approx 2 min. Pour into a shallow dish. Allow to get to room temp.
  • Add cinnamon and raisins cover and put in fridge for 8 hours. or overnight before serving.
  • Well Worth the Wait.
