Stove Top Pulled Pork BBQ

- Meat: shopping list
- pork (two to three inch thick pork chops, trimmed of fat, roughly 2 lbs) shopping list
- 2 onions (minced or quartered, depending on preference) shopping list
- 4-5 cloves garlic (minced) shopping list
- 1/2 c vinegar (adjust to taste) shopping list
- 2.5-3 capfuls liquid smoke shopping list
- 2 handfuls sugar shopping list
- 1 T salt shopping list
- 1 t paprika shopping list
- 1-2 t rosemary shopping list
- 1-2 t black pepper (ground) shopping list
- 2 bayleaves shopping list
- cayenne shopping list
- Sauce: shopping list
- little water shopping list
- 3 cloves garlic shopping list
- 1 t rosemary shopping list
- 1/2 t black pepper shopping list
- 1/4 c vinegar (adjust to taste) shopping list
- handful dark brown sugar shopping list
- 1 T lemon juice shopping list
- 1/3 small can tomato paste shopping list
- splash balsamic vinegar shopping list
How to make it
- Meat:
- Saute onions and garlic, add water to fill pot and cover other ingredients, boil until almost dry; remove from heat. Shred meat and put back in pot.
- Sauce:
- Boil separately from the meat until syrupy and mixed. Add sauce to shredded meat and heat on low for a couple of minutes while stirring to mix flavors.
- Sauce can be reserved on the side to be added as desired, but doesn't mix as thoroughly. I like to toss a couple big spoonfuls on a toasted bun and eat with some green beans and/or garlic mashed potatoes.
