Jess I Dunno Marinade Recipe
This is a marinade I came up with by mistake. An old friend of mine used to make a marinade that I just fell in love with and I was trying to duplicate it and came up with this.

Ingredients
  • 1 (18oz) bottle rice vinegar
  • 1 (8 oz) bottle of oyster sauce
  • 5 TBLS sesame oil
  • 5 TBLS roasted sesame seeds
  • 2 TBLS minced garlic
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1 lg round onion chopped

Directions
  1. Combine above mentioned ingredients in a bowl
  2. Place meat of your choice in a zip lock bag
  3. Place marinade in bag
  4. Set some of the marinade on side for basting
  5. Place in fridge for no less than 6 hours
  6. Lomi (mix with your hands, or massage) meat every so often
  7. Cook on grill till done
  8. Make sure to baste while grilling
  9. Normally use chicken thighs with skin on...

This marinade is ridiculously good... Just make sure that you marinate your meat for at least 6 hours... I usually use chicken thighs with the skin on and I par-boil them before marinating them...
