Cajun Pasta Recipe
Spicy spin on pasta. This is one of my favorite pasta dishes.

Ingredients
  • 4 oz Linguine Pasta
  • 2 teaspoons Cajun Seasoning
  • 2 Tablespoons Butter
  • 1 tablespoon sun dried tomatoes
  • ½ of Jalapeño
  • ½ cup mushrooms
  • ½ medium onion
  • ¼ teaspoon dried basil
  • ¼ teaspoon lemon pepper
  • ¼ salt
  • pint Heavy Whipping Cream
  • 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/3 cup grated Parmesan Cheese

Directions
  1. 1. Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain.
  2. 2. In a large skillet over medium heat, sauté, mushrooms, onions, sun dried tomatoes, a peppers.
  3. 3. Add the cream, basil, lemon pepper, Cajun seasonings, salt, garlic powder and ground black pepper. Heat through. Add the cooked linguine, toss and heat through. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese and serve.

Thank you Ivey for this post. A friend promised me a recipe for Cajun Pasta, but only after I lose 20 more pounds. I will definitely try this when I think I've lost enough weight.
