How to make it

  • BATTER:
  • CREAM BUTTER AND SUGAR TOGETHER IN MIXING BOWL USING ELECTRIC BEATER
  • BEAT EGGS AND MILK TOGETHER.
  • ADD MILK MIXTURE TO MIXING BOWL.
  • SIEVE FLOUR, SALT AND BAKING POWDER TOGETHER.
  • ADD TO MIXING BOWL.
  • MIX TOGETHER WELL UNTIL SMOOTH BATTER FORMS.
  • POUR INTO A PIE DISH
  • LAYER DRAINED APPLES ON TOP OF BATTER.
  • BAKE AT 180C FOR 45 MINUTES OR UNTIL COOKED.
  • SYRUP:
  • BOIL CREAM, SUGAR AND SALT TOGETHER UNTIL IT BUBBLES.
  • REMOVE PIE FROM OVEN.
  • POUR SYRUP OVER HOT PIE.
  • RETURN TO OVEN FOR 5 MINUTES.
  • SERVE HOT WITH WHIPPED FRESH CREAM.
