Chocolate Chocolate Brownies Recipe

This recipe was given to me by a friend. These brownies are moist and full of chocolate.

Ingredients
- 1-1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 4 to 6 squares of unsweetened chocolate
- 2/3 cup butter or margarine
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla or for a change of flavour, add Frangelico liqueur
- 1/2 cup miniature chocolate chips
- *If you want something really different then add 1/2 cup miniature marshmallows that have been roughly cut with scissors.
- 1 cup walnuts, chopped
Directions
- Blend flour, baking powder and salt then set to one side.
- Melt chocolate and butter / margarine in a covered bowl in the microwave or in a double boiler.
- Stir in sugar.
- Stir in beaten eggs and vanilla.
- Turn into flour mixture and add miniature chocolate chips and chopped walnuts.
- Pour into a sprayed 13 x 9 x 2" pan.
- Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 35 minutes or until finger pressed lightly on surface leaves a slight indentation.
- Cool in pan on a rack.
- Cut into 36 squares.
- Recipe can be halved and baked in a 8 x 8 x 2" pan.
