Gluten Free Fish And Chip Batter Recipe
Gluten free batter mix to dip fish in for frying. Makes great fish & chips, but also works on onion rings, chicken nuggets, etc.

Ingredients
  • 1/4 cup corn flour (masa)
  • 1/4 cup corn starch
  • 1/4 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1/2 cup milk

Directions
  1. Mix dry ingredients in small mixing bowl
  2. stir in milk (it may take slightly more milk than listed, but mix to the consistency of pancake batter)
  3. let sit for a couple of minutes
  4. stir in fish (cut into squares) to coat thoroughly
  5. deep fry in canola oil for 4 to 5 minutes until golden brown
  6. have cut fresh onion rings to coat with remainder of batter for an added bonus!! (coat rings lightly and fry for about 3 minutes)
